Wow.This is just amazing.Honestly,i think of all your pieces so far, this is my ABSOLUTE favorite. Im really in to dark art and pics with deep meaning and this is perfect. The lighting and just the vision of the picture itself is more than amazing.A perfect peaceful picture of death to come. I always listen to this song since its my favorite Breaking Benjamin song and i've always wanted to draw or imagine what those lines from the song would create and this fills the gap of what I tried to imagine.VERY.very well done. Th second I realized it was Nick,it all made sense. The smile on his face and his peacefulness is just...wow.I couldn't have done a better picture myself.
I'm glad you noticed that Bayli . I thought making him look "at peace and rest" would suit it very well, even though suicide isn't typically a "positive" thing. I just love to incorporate irony in my art :3. and i had to break down the lyrics as carefully as I could to get the piece to come out right "put me to sleep evil angel, open your wings evil angel" so yes you are absolutely right even though he is the one trying to commit to it, the evil angel is almost encouraging and comforting him into temptation. It's really cool to think of it both ways death as an actual being or just a metaphore. That's the way how i picture it at least
no problem. i especially love the way the angel is encouraging him. And whats even more cool to think of is how since nick is commiting to death, how only Death itself can be seen by nick and how it seems nick finds the comfort of the shadowing presense easing.
